Hurtap SA is a wholesale company distributing medical products and materials to drugstores. The company has its head office in Łęczyca in the voivodship of Łódź. Its founder and present chairman is MA in Pharmacy Wiktor Napióra.

The company was started in 1990 in response to the growing needs of Polish pharmaceutical market which was becoming privatised at the time. Consistent realisation of the chosen development policy as well as friendly contactwith its business partners resulted in a dynamic development of the company. At present it can boast a well-developed distribution network, with divisions in Głogów, Tychy, Warsaw and Gdańsk. After many years' development the number of its workers exceeded 700 people.

The company's head office as well as its main distribution center in Łęczyca is located in a modern building intended for this particular kind of business. Fully-automated store houses of about 6500 square meters constitute an integral part of the wholesale company.The storage rooms are properly ventilated and air-conditioned, equipped with electronic devices controlling and recording humidity and temperature of the air. All this guarantees meeting the international GDP (Effective Distribution) standards by the wholesale company.

The logistic solutions used as well as the automatics are unique for this kind of business in Poland. One of the greatest logistic achievements was introducing of the machine for collecting drugs from the storehouses without human intermediation, in December 2005.

Hurtap SA cooperates with about 2500 drugstores, with 5% share in total Polish wholesale turnover. Effective combining of the workers' education, predispositions and experience with most advanced organisational and technical solutions leads to success in business. The company's financial results place it among 300 biggest Polish firms and also among the few companies with the highest of income growth.

Hurtap SA is a company with Polish capital and its share holders include 240 drugstore owners who actively support the company's policy.

A significant aspect of Hurtap's policy is constant and friendly contact with its customers. The company organizes numerous contests and training courses for chemists on its own premises. Common meetings, trips, holidays and voyages also contribute to further integration of pharmaceutical community.

 Within 17 years of its operation Hurtap SA has earned a good reputation and become an important element of social life. The company supports financially lots of institutions – especially colleges, schools and social welfare institutions as well as funds scholarships and grants. In 2002 Seniors of Polish Pharmacy Fund was started as a form of help for those who are retired due to their age

The company's board are doing their best not only to provide its workers with excellent working conditions but also to create favourable conditions for their further training and education as well as integration and active leisure. It was for their sake that a leisure center was built 45 km from the company's head office, where all the citizens of Łęczyca are also welcome. A wide variety of leisure and relaxation facilities created specially for its workers includes also a cafe, a horse riding club, a fitness club and some football and volleyball fields in the area of the company.

In 2005 Hutap SA joined an exclusive Club for businessmen and the largest Polsish organisation for individual employers – Business Centre Club.
